The Insatiable Momentum of Wandering

 "THE CONANDRUM OF NATURE"

The enigmatic beauty that resides in the silence of the woods has been quite intriguing to this child inside who has always considered nature as their mother, their only relation to this entire worldly consciousness. The secrets have always been and will keep on providing for the play. There's nothing much to be discussed on this context since the silence has always talked more, has always been able to mean much more than mere utterances could ever reveal. But, on this I would like to paraphrase Byron here from his "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage"----

“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar:
I love not Man the less, but Nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the Universe, and feel
What I can ne’er express, yet cannot all conceal.”

The Innocent Whimsicality of Children

"LITTLE ONES"     Over the years that I've lived, there's one thing that always remains a constant which I keep coming back to because it is worthy of it. The child inside me. Children are like dewdrops. They are truly these beautiful angelic beings who are incapable of nothing. They are themselves the beam of joy and bring the same to everyone surrounding them. They are always mischievous and running about their whims. You can catch them, but can never hold them back. And all the while, if I have learnt something from these little buddies, it has to be "the art of living".  To all of the children out there, take love. Children clicks. Curious Cat in A Bakery

"The Kulcha Bakery" Once, I came across this little, local bakery in the Kargil city of Ladakh region in Kashmir. I was taking a stroll down the street by the apartment we were staying at the moment after a scrumptious breakfast of roti, sabzi,  and omelet at a busy local store. That is when I saw someone putting up some freshly baked goods in the glass cabinet of a store. I was curious since it was a very small, shady door leading to the dim-lit shop. Nonetheless, I walked right in and what I saw left me amazed. I was kind of flabbergasted by the sight of these beautiful preparations of local bread. I asked the man who was preparing the clay oven which very much resembled a traditional tandoori oven regarding the ready-to-go doughs and came to know them as ' kulcha' . They looked absolutely delicious with sesame seeds sprinkled on top of them. As I was trying to click pictures of these goodies, the man carried on with the preparations. He didn't talk much and con...

The Following Story

" FOLLOW ME NOW"      This is not something I generally post and as you can see the quality of the video is pretty bad and the hands are shaking too much and as such it's not something to be uploaded. Nonetheless. this is something very dear to me and holds much significance and as always, the story matters the most.                 It was a humid dawn on a day in the month of May when this was recorded. I happened to take a stroll down the road at that point of time and that's what led me to them. I chose to follow the person walking the dog. They were leading the road in the lonely silent neighbourhood as the light was breaking into the slumber of the birds. It was quite soothing, as the mundane day was about to hit, we were just wandering down the meandered roads without aiming to control anything; taking in a little less hindered gas and just letting everything be.     I do n...
