A Start

"THE COMMENCEMENT" With the onset of a 'neo-normal' in the whole wide world, new journeys are to set forth. Beginnings with touches of fresh strokes have been undertaken. So, the flight is about to depart. Ganbarimasu! Sky clicks. CANON EOS 1100D 02.01.2020

Salute To The Greatest Friends

"THE LOYAL COMPANIONS" All these years in my life, the creatures I have made friends with or even found solace in the companionship are the ones except the mankind. The most beloved and my dearest ones have been the pups all over the places I have been in these years. They have never failed to be there beside a loser like me; never expected anything else than a bit of love and care. In return, I have been bestowed upon with unconditional attachment and loyal devotion. I cannot ever forget the truest of the emotions produced. These are the clicks of some of those beautiful innocent friends of mine whom I have found sometimes in the hilly region of the Dooars, other times in the mountains of Sikkim or even on the streets of the city and all over the roads I have ventured upon. And the last toast goes to my love, my child, Muffin. The only one who still connects me to the other side, in spite of being the silly goose she is. My best mate. Doggo clicks. The Melody of the Fall

"THE MELLOW DITTY" Days when I take a walk down the roads of this city are mostly the ones when there's a need for a little warmth and closure and I am glad to say the city in spite of her chaotic nature, does not disappoint on these very particular days. Moreover, if the journey happens to be accompanied by another soul, it only adds to the mellow bites.  This particular click was taken on such a peaceful day. As the journey began, we happen to chance upon this tranquil sight of the scenery. The cotton-like fluffy structures floating around in the serene blue palate created an artistic charm above our heads and filled us with much pleasure and comfort. The little tune of calmness played on loop through the entire journey and made the afternoon worthwhile. City clicks. CANON EOS 1100D 11.13.2020

Through the Doors of The Dooars : END Take!

DAY 5 : "THE LAST SEGMENT OF THE JOURNEY"  The final fragment of the trip was surrounding a river named ' Jayanti', flowing through the Buxa forest. Although the time we reached there, there was no sign of water flowing through the rocky bed. But the exploration of the adjoining land continued whatsoever.  The endings are always for putting emphasis on the fact that the journeys are there to continue. So, these memories be cherished until the next time. Dooars clicks. CANON EOS 1100D 02.20.20-02.22.20 P.S. : Thank you all for tagging along through this entire journey. This is the end of the Dooars series. But stay tuned for more content. Peace.

A Peak from the Roads of Dooars : Down the Off-side

"THE LITTLE TOWN MIDST THE WOODS"  The journey at Dooars brought little its and bits along with it as we started ascending the foothills of the great range through the deciduous foliage. One of those cherishable recollections was this small town midst the woody ranges.  We had to halt at this area in order to reach our destination. At the marketplace of this town which is also supposed to be the last place where network is available, the rest of the trip is supposed to be with dead phones until you again retrieve back to the spot. Since, we did not have a charted plan to roam around, we instinctively decided to take the short hike towards the Buxa Fort from there which is around 5 km down the hilly road. The clicks of hiking towards through the forest and the mesmerizing beauty of the woods is in the last post of the 'Dooars Diaries'.  A bit off-side from the busy route, amidst the forests, rests this small metropolis with its people living in harmony with the surroun...

The Only Certain

"RENDEZVOUS OF DEATH" Disclaimer: This post has not been tried to make any offence. Please do not feel so.  All our lives, we keep running to meet the deadlines of time, only to find ourselves the late runner. By the luck of chance, even if we come across certain 'correct' timings, we fall in the dungeon of the 'wrongs' in the next. And finally, going down the sweet and salty path when we reach the finish-line, we are already "too late". Death arrives. But is death early? Or even late?!  I suppose death comes only at the most certain moment. You can argue about accidents or even self-infliction, but only if we have known all the equations of the entire universe and still be alive to talk about them, then I hope the argument would not suffice. The only and most probable truth ( proven ) lies in death. The infinite flow of the nature chooses to be shrouded in mysteries but has left something for us. It has shared a trick with us. Too certain a trick!...

A Random Lonesome CLiCK!

"The Death of A Day" I apologize for the quality of the picture. My phone camera could not bring out much in such dim light. The sky had taken on a very pale shadow with the evening falling in. On the other hand the monsoon season in this corner of the world had called for shades of some grey. As I looked outside my window that evening, there was this beautiful scenario that gave me chills. I knew I had to capture this moment right away. With this person on the other end of the connecting line, I took the shot.  The emotion that was playing somewhere was something kind of like a hiraeth. The end of such a day creeps up from time to time and remain uncalled for, unique in its own way. A perfect moment thus created at the death of a day. Random clicks. REDMI 4A 08.01.2020

Through the Doors of The Dooars : Take FOUR!

DAY 4 : "JOURNEY THROUGH THE SOMBER SILENCE" As the trip continued with all its perks throughout the forests of Dooars, we decided upon taking a short trek to the Buxa Fort.  This was probably one of the times there that I would like to remember from time to time. It was about 5 km up and down the hilly roads that took us to the fort. There was no such extravagant experience that followed, but rather the silent, cool extravaganza that the diverse range of woods provided made everything worthwhile. As we ascended through the rocky path of the mountains, the belt of deciduous foliage welcomed us. We were surrounded by old, great trees standing in utter silence with decades of secrets within the long, thick trunks.   The thought of how always the forests have accepted us no matter who we are, where we come from, the woods welcoming the humans with those droopy branches has amused me for a long time. But it will be hard to expect the same behavior every time from the opposite...
