The Melody of the Fall

"THE MELLOW DITTY"

Days when I take a walk down the roads of this city are mostly the ones when there's a need for a little warmth and closure and I am glad to say the city in spite of her chaotic nature, does not disappoint on these very particular days. Moreover, if the journey happens to be accompanied by another soul, it only adds to the mellow bites.
This particular click was taken on such a peaceful day. As the journey began, we happen to chance upon this tranquil sight of the scenery. The cotton-like fluffy structures floating around in the serene blue palate created an artistic charm above our heads and filled us with much pleasure and comfort. The little tune of calmness played on loop through the entire journey and made the afternoon worthwhile.

City clicks.

The Innocent Whimsicality of Children

"LITTLE ONES"     Over the years that I've lived, there's one thing that always remains a constant which I keep coming back to because it is worthy of it. The child inside me. Children are like dewdrops. They are truly these beautiful angelic beings who are incapable of nothing. They are themselves the beam of joy and bring the same to everyone surrounding them. They are always mischievous and running about their whims. You can catch them, but can never hold them back. And all the while, if I have learnt something from these little buddies, it has to be "the art of living".  To all of the children out there, take love. Children clicks. Curious Cat in A Bakery

"The Kulcha Bakery" Once, I came across this little, local bakery in the Kargil city of Ladakh region in Kashmir. I was taking a stroll down the street by the apartment we were staying at the moment after a scrumptious breakfast of roti, sabzi,  and omelet at a busy local store. That is when I saw someone putting up some freshly baked goods in the glass cabinet of a store. I was curious since it was a very small, shady door leading to the dim-lit shop. Nonetheless, I walked right in and what I saw left me amazed. I was kind of flabbergasted by the sight of these beautiful preparations of local bread. I asked the man who was preparing the clay oven which very much resembled a traditional tandoori oven regarding the ready-to-go doughs and came to know them as ' kulcha' . They looked absolutely delicious with sesame seeds sprinkled on top of them. As I was trying to click pictures of these goodies, the man carried on with the preparations. He didn't talk much and con...

A Random Lonesome CLiCK!

"The Death of A Day" I apologize for the quality of the picture. My phone camera could not bring out much in such dim light. The sky had taken on a very pale shadow with the evening falling in. On the other hand the monsoon season in this corner of the world had called for shades of some grey. As I looked outside my window that evening, there was this beautiful scenario that gave me chills. I knew I had to capture this moment right away. With this person on the other end of the connecting line, I took the shot.  The emotion that was playing somewhere was something kind of like a hiraeth. The end of such a day creeps up from time to time and remain uncalled for, unique in its own way. A perfect moment thus created at the death of a day. Random clicks. REDMI 4A 08.01.2020
